For your consideration….
If we see steps in our dreams, we are to notice if we are climbing up or down. Obviously if we are going down, we are headed in the wrong direction in some part of our life. It is a clue.
We should be forever climbing. It is OK to stop and catch our breath. It is OK to have a slow and steady pace. But as we said the other day, the park bench is not meant to be a permanent fixture.
Look at the picture and boy in it. Do those steps look daunting or unmanageable? Is he in a hurry? Might he stumble or trip? Will that deter him? Are there any doubts he will reach the top? How will he feel when he gets there? Will he climb them again another time or attempt even more challenging stairs?
Our life journey is like these stairs. At any given time we should be either climbing or resting. We should not be turning around or sliding back down.
It is easy to stay in our comfort zone. But you need look no further than the news to realize we are all needed. The world needs each one of us to step up to becoming our highest most authentic self. We all have a special purpose and role to play. We need to step into it and share it with the world.
If even 1% of the world population did this, this would be a very very different world indeed. If women stood up in their power this would be a very very different world. Yet here we are.
You say you don’t know your life purpose. You don’t have to know it to move into it. You just have to ask for the next step and be ready to receive it with an open mind and heart. It will be there. I promise.
I HOPE each of us makes the decision today to step up and into their life purpose.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps anyone can take……
-Meditate and journal
-Drink lots of water.
-Grab a book that might interest you.
-Have you been thinking about trying something new and are on the fence? Sign up.
-Consider volunteering someplace that touches your heart.
-Take a least 10 deep breaths outdoors.
What made me smile yesterday…..
-I felt wonderful yesterday. The day had a perfect flow.
-I cooked a yummy dinner with virtually no planning. Hmmmm.
-Dude and I had a great walk. Walks make him so happy. It is contagious.
-I had a great talk with Gloria and Cassidy. While their hearts are in pain, they are full of HOPE and joyous spirit.
