For your consideration…..
During an extended mediation this morning, I was very clearly given this message.
“Let down the filters your ego has put up. And just listen.”
It is no coincidence it comes through on Father’s Day.
I plan on trying my best to do this. I HOPE you do too.
(What’s with the ladybug picture today? My dad solidified my belief system when he passed. Since then when he really wants to let me know he is around, he sends me ladybugs. I even get ladybugs in the winter. So it is no easy task for him. Thanks, Dad. Happy Father’s Day.)
Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps anyone can take.
-Pause today to honor your father and all fathers.
-Practice asking your ego to step aside. Sometimes I actually go through the motions of getting up and closing a door. You could use a box etc. You get the idea. Any process you want will work. It is the being conscious of that pesky ego being the naysayer and simply demanding he stop.
-Relax. Have some fun. Take in some deep breaths outdoors.
-Drink lots of water.
What made me smile yesterday…..
-Alex, Shannon and Mackenzie. Don’t you just love those unexpected, unplanned moments that come together?
-Dinner out with Bruce. That always brings a smile. Especially when he does not disappoint me and ask me if I have any money? I always know it is coming. I keep it a surprise and sometimes I fork some over and sometimes I don’t . Last night, you ask? No I didn’t. I am buying tonight.
