For your consideration……

It only makes sense that we “suit up” for the  winter weather. We need to prepare ourselves to be out in the weather safely.

So too in life, we “suit up” and prepare ourselves for different situations. Our intuition knows what we need to cope and deal with whatever crosses our path.

But we are reminded today that just as we take off our boots, snow pants, gloves, hats etc. when we come inside, so do we need to drop or let go of those “protection” attitudes we have donned.

If we don’t, our heart can become isolated and hard. The proverbial “chip on the shoulder” is a perfect example of someone who has taken on protection and kept it beyond its useful intention.

We are asked to dress for the occasion. It is appropriate and wise to prepare ourselves for success but then let it go when it is no longer needed. If we don’t do that and continue to layer, we lose ourselves.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray….ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Strip down to the real you as often as you can.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-A great day at school. I think the students were ready to get back after the snow days.

-My Sis is getting great care.

-Mercury may be in retrograde making communication difficult but we are muddling through and getting lots of things cleared up.

-A great date night……dinner at Connor O’Neals…..seeing  Kathie Matea and her band put on a great show at The Ark.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
