Today’s Consideration
This clam is like us. Maybe we’re a little beat up and rough on the outside but we hold treasure on the inside. For some of us that treasure is easier to access than others. And that’s OK. If we could dig deeper still, we would find that tiny seed or core essence self from which our treasure grew. And we would know, like we know, like we know that our core essence self is EXACTLY PERFECT.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps anybody can do…
-Look in the mirror, look yourself in the eye and smile
-Take 10 deeps breaths of fresh air
-Sit for one minute or more if you can, repeating this affirmation “I am exactly perfect and loved”
What Made me Smile Yesterday?
-I have to say, when I was done working and walked out into the sunshine
-When I was headed down my street and could see my husband and dog waiting in the driveway. (OK, they were probably just sunning themselves but it made me smile anyway.)
-When my daughter said, “Thanks, Mom, that helps a lot”.
-When my oldest daughter called on her way home from work, and was poking fun at herself. We had a chuckle together. What a great way to end the day.
