For your consideration……

Our angels have a sense of humor. Today’s message is this.

A smile and a little bit of love are like duct tape. They repair things or at least hold them together until a permanent fix can be put in place.”

We all have an endless supply of smiles and love in our life tool box. Use them generously.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray….ask….”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-When all else seems to be failing, pull our your smile and a little bit of love.

What made me smile yesterday……

-I was support  in a special ed classroom. I’m not sure how I picked up that job but I know why I was there. It was perfect.

-We had a beautiful day through recess. Then it turned on a dime like Michigan weather tends to do.

-I will call my students D (a boy) and E (a girl). E is new to the class. It was only her second day. As they line up for recess, D is standing behind E and says, “I really like you E.” E responds, “I really like you too, D.”

-E says to D, “Do I look different today?” D responds, “You look really pretty I like those 2 things you have sticking from your head (pigtails) today.”

-They got to pick an educational computer game to work on. E picks a cooking game. She tells me she will make me a birthday cake. She asks me how old I am. I tell her I’m 23. She says, “I’ll put 34 on the cake.” I’m not too offended that is still a lot better than my real age. Too funny. Then when she is done she says to D, “Come on lets sing Happy Birthday to Ms. Adams.” D doesn’t even question it. He hops up and they both come and sing to me. How fun!

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
