For your consideration…..

More often than not, we all have an opinion. We may or may not be ready and willing to share it but we have it. It’s all good. For polite conversation we all know the rule “Don’t talk about politics or religion.” Those are pretty big topics to avoid because they almost always somehow intersect with every part of our lives. And just maybe they are the conversations we should we having.

So today we are given a suggestion. Rather than lead with our opinion, we should first establish our common ground. After we establish the common ground, what is the “hard rock” that we agree on. That would be the common goal. Then we can proceed and offer our opinions and see our differences but always circling back to our common ground and goal.

HOPEfully, we can find a resolution that we can both live with. However, if we can’t, we can and should always end the discussion on what we do agree on. We should always end focusing on the common purpose we share rather than our differences.

Do you see the difference? We leave with the positive energy of common purpose and will. We send out to the Universe shared purpose and our desire for resolution. As One we ask the Oneness for resolution for a problem we share.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray….ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Establish common ground.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Sleeiping in.

-A great session with lots of ideas with my writing coach, Pat.

-Finally hearing from daughter number one. “Where have you been?” I asked. “Just living the dream.” she responds with, I think, tongue in cheek.

-A great picture of Alex on the flight deck with buddies.

-I got another box sent out to Alex despite the packed post office conditions.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
