For your consideration…….
Hmmmm it has been a long time since we have been given a flower as our message. Today we were given a white chrysanthemum and told that the message applies to our work. I guess Monday is a good day for it as we start go back to work from our weekend and dig right in.
The chrysanthemum represents opening the heart, healing and growing. While there are many colors of chrysanthemums, ours was specifically white, the color or truth and sincerity.
Here is the crux of our message. We spend a lot of time at our work. It is important for it to be a healthy place for us. Just as important, is that we be our authentic self….our best self…. there. Too often there are personality conflicts, competition and insincerity in the work place and we develop and wear a persona that we feel is a better fit than our authentic self. Not so. Our authentic self is always the best fit in every situation including the work place.
Open your heart, bring your best self to work. Do not let it be deterred.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……
-Meditate/pray…..ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. Consider a walk or eating lunch outdoors.
-Do not let your authentic self be deterred. It is exactly what every situation needs.
What made me smile yesterday…..
-A great ride home.
-Return of the sunshine.
-A great email and picture of Alex.
-Alex’s friend Will and the “hampster head.”
