For your consideration…..

As children our heroes are often comic figures like Superman or Spiderman or now even video game heroes. When we grow up our heroes become real people. They are people we look up too and admire.

When we get older our heroes are often ordinary people who have done extraordinary things. They are our heroes because we recognize this.

Today’s message is this. We recognize those extraordinary heroes because we recognize the “human qualities” it took to accomplish their extraordinary actions. We recognize those qualities because they reside in us.

We can not recognize what we do not know. We forget this. We recognize heroes because our authentic self recognizes justice, kindness, strength, love, selflessness etc.

We are asked to remember this. Remember we are all capable of doing what is right. We are all capable of being a hero. Be the best you can be.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…….

-Meditate/pray…..get to your calm center at least once each day. Learn to call it up instantly.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Journal….consider who was your hero today or your proudest moment of the day.

What made me smile yesterday…….

-I found a perfume gift that I was certain I had lost.

-Yes, it is cold but there is sunshine. Love it.

-Sweet students.

-Grocery shopping done. Laundry done. No bad for a work day.

-Having our dog back home. We are soooo happy to see him and him us.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
