For your consideration…….

What do you know for sure? Are your sure about that?

Today we are reminded that sometimes…..often……we live and react to life somewhat on automatic. We operate on “what we know for sure”.  However life evolves and we need to evolve. “What we know for sure” can and should change.

Periodically, we should actively pause and ponder what we know for sure. For example, let’s examine our belief or non-belief in God. You may be sitting thinking, “No, my belief in God is intact. I have always believed and I still believe. My belief is unshakable. I don’t need to re-examine it.” Today we are told No that is wrong thinking. Our relationship with God is always evolving.

Personally, mine has evolved from someone I called on in times of need and worshiped on Sunday into a partner and mentor relationship. It evolved when I took another look at judgment and realized that there is no place for it. It evolved when I realized God looks at all things big and small exactly the same way.

Perhaps we need to pause and look at “what we know for sure” about commitment, love, our work, our life purpose, our friendships etc.

We need to constantly monitor and adjust our “What we know for sure.” We know the saying, “If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you always got.” Yup, that happens when we do not take time to re-examine “what we know for sure”.

I love this message. I HOPE you do to. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray…..take the time to adjust and renew.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Journal.

What made me smile yesterday……

-It was a day relaxing and reading in the sun day. I think I’ll do it again today.

-Refreshing dips in the pool.

-Meeting lots of interesting people.

-I know like I know like I know how much I love my Peanut and AJ. Otherwise I would be doing warm weather for way more than a week in the winter.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
