The wild card that makes life unpredictable is the “Indomitable Human Spirit.”
It is the human spirit that ultimately determines the outcome of sporting events, wars, revolutions, family dynamics…..everything in life. It is the human spirit that determines how we choose to handle life.

Nurture your spirit. Feed your spirit. Protect your spirit. Know your spirit….it is the essence of who you really are.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can to……..
-Meditate/pray…..there is no better way to feed and know your spirit than giving it your undivided attention in silence.
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.TV
-Make a list of what you love to do…..what feeds your spirit with love and joy.
What made me smile yesterday……..
-A beautiful note of appreciation from a teacher I subbed for.
-Yes, it is bitterly cold but the sunshine is so joyous.
-A short school day and early trip to Stillwater.
-I loved the openings of the Olympics. Can we just celebrate them the way they are intended. Seriously, does every TV station have to report and then with “yeah but”. Let’s send our love, HOPEs and prayers and blessings to all athletes, visitors and the people of Russia hosting such an enormous event.
