For your consideration………

Probably all of us have at one time or another have feelings of being overwhelmed. We have an overflow of problems. We have too much going on. We have too much to do and not enough time.

When we are going through these tough times, we feel stressed and out of control. Today we are told to take a step back and take another look. Consider that we are being overwhelmed for a reason. Perhaps we are being given too much for our plate so that we have to make choices.

We have a tendency to just handle everything that crosses our path. Women are natural multi-taskers and especially guilty of this. We deal. We cope. This is usually a good thing. We go astray when we forget what is really important. While we are busy coping, we can lose focus on the most important things in our life. We lose focus on our goals and the people who mean the most to us.

So when we are feeling overwhelmed or life is overflowing with problems, consider it is just trying to get our attention. We are being forced to prioritize and choose what really is matters. We are being forced to refocus. It is in our highest good. It is done with love.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray…..focus on your priorities.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Journal your goals, HOPEs and dreams.

What made me smile yesterday…….

-Another beautiful snow storm.

-Lots of sunshine.

-Getting together with my friend, Pam. We went to breakfast and stayed through lunch.

-Bills paid. I always dread sitting down which is stupid because I always feel so good after it is done. Go figure.

-Catching up with Jackie and Alex.
