All is Well

For your consideration…….

Today’s message is a tag on of yesterday’s. The message yesterday felt complete yet I know today that this message goes with it.

Yesterday we talked about a transformation coming….a change. We also talked about not needing to know what it was. Today is a reminder that all is well. Everything is exactly as it is supposed to be. And even if we do not see it now, there are hidden blessings.

Of course, this is easier to see when everything is going along smoothly. It is harder to see when we hit those bigger bumps on the road called Life Journey. But hard as it is to see sometimes, God treats all bumps the same because he holds no judgement. No matter the bump, there is already a solution,  life lesson and blessing waiting for you.

Talking to my wise friend, Jackie, yesterday we talked about how sad it is when young people give into despair. Being older has its benefits. We know what seems like the end of the world today, we may very well laugh about in five years. Even if we can’t laugh about it, we can see where we grew from it. Maybe that was the lesson itself. We  learned how to weather storms.

So the HOPE today is we walk through it with confidence that all is well. It is exactly how it is supposed to be.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate for as long as you can.

-Drink lots of water and less caffeine.

-Take 1 minute and write down as many things as you can on what you are grateful for.

-Make a wish.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-I stayed in the cool house in my pj’s. I went out only to water flowers and take my deep breaths.

-My peonies are out and beautiful.

-I got a card from my dear friend, Judy. She included a magnet entitled HOPE. In the middle of doing something else, she thought about me. Wow.

-Alex told me her old roomie, Kali, is coming back. That really made her smile which in turn gave me one as well.
