“Honor who you are and flow with it.”

For your consideration……..

That is our message today. I suspect for many of us our first thought is…. easier said than done. Perhaps.

Today’s message came in on a memory I had frankly dismissed. My friend, Carol, and I had volunteered to work in the kitchen for a women’s event at our club. In a nutshell, it was a horrific day. The frustrating part was that it didn’t have to be. It was our first time working the event but we have lots of experience in many things as did the other helper.  I am a Manifesting Generator which means I have a lot of ideas and energy. Give me a task,…tell me what it is you need done… and I will make it happen. The problem was the woman in charge would not give up any details like the plan. Had we had a list even a brief one we could have done a lot of it earlier in the week. And we would not have to keep asking her what she wanted us to do next, which clearly irritated her. Consequently, it was a hard day for everyone. We finished the day, of course, but I know my Human Design is not set up for it. So I know not to do it again. Lesson learned.

There is a study called Human Design. It is a valuable tool. Suffice to say that to really explain it, I would have to blog about it everyday for a year at least. Indeed, people study it for years. Briefly, it explains how YOU are designed to interface with the world. It explains how you tick. It explains how you make decisions. It explains your true nature and what you really care about and your strengths and weaknesses etc. Like I said we could go on forever about Human Design and barely scratch the surface.

Human Design is the explanation. But you KNOW who you are. You may not know the why but you know all of those above things.

Today’s message went on to another  example of my husband and I regarding travel. I like to travel “by the seat of my pants” so to speak. I like to just go with the flow and just see what wants to happen. But my husband, Bruce, is the exact opposite. He needs to know every detail in advance. We compromise. I give him just enough to make him comfortable and then adjust as we go. We can do that because my Human Design recognizes his caution is my backup and my ideas/dreams will take us farther than he knows he would ever go.

You have all heard the saying, “Opposites attract.” That is because their Human Designs knows their weakness and recognizes it as a strength in the other. It doesn’t mean they are not perfect. We all do it to some extent. We seek those who can deliver where we can not. And in the reverse, we loan our strengths where needed.

Today we are told to honor your design. You are perfect in every way for the life purpose you are here to complete. Choose to honor who you are without judgement and go with YOUR flow. Embrace life the way that is comfortable for you….the way you were designed to interface with it.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray…..be in touch with your authentic self.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Reflect on your own strengths and weaknesses….without judgement. Just observe how you best interact with life and honor it.

What made me smile yesterday……

-A great trip back home from Stillwater. We made a few stops on the way which saved me trips later. Bruce, was a good sport about it.

-Karen and I were able to make contact. My Human Design likes to check things off my list.

-Checking in with Jackie.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
