For your consideration……
For those of us who live in the United States, freedom is a given. It is an unalienable right given by God and guaranteed in the Constitution. It is why so many immigrants have flocked here since the country’s birth. It is those guaranteed freedoms that are constantly being debated and defended.
And certainly it is true that God wants us to be free. But we are told today, that a Constitution alone does not constitute freedom. It is an illusion because freedom…..true freedom….comes from the inside. It is felt. It is the unchained….unburdened spirit…..that constitutes freedom.
The unburdened spirit “feels” free. It has no fear and is brave in the face of adversity. It is not burdened by guilt or shame because it knows forgiveness. It lets worry go because it has faith. It feels loved because it gives love.
We are asked today to go within and see if we have any “chains” on our spirit keeping us from our life purpose. And we are reminded that freedom does not have to be an illusion if we release our spirit from those chains that bind.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..
-Meditate/pray…..what has you stressed….release it for healing for the highest good of all. Trust that it is done. God hears us the first time.
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Journal what does make your spirit sing.
What made me smile yesterday……
-Ahhhh, the sun, the back deck, my husband, our dog and a good book. Was there supposed to be anything else?
-Alex going with the flow and having an unexpected fun weekend.
-Talking with my Sis.
-Amazing sleeping weather.
