For your consideration…….
Strength…..today’s message is about strength. I think its pretty appropriate on Father’s Day as we tend to think of our Father’s as our strong protectors against the world.
However, today’s message is deeper than that. Today’s message tells us that love is what gives us strength. It gives us the strength to continue to love and be loved. It gives us the strength to stand in the face of adversity. It gives us the strength to be ourselves and live our true passions. It gives us confidence and happiness. Love allows us to be courageous.
Love gives us roots and then nourishes them. With deep rooted loved as our foundations we know we can do anything we set out minds and hearts to. Love builds us up. Absence of loves tears us down.
Love is free and in endless supply. Love makes everything stronger. We are reminded to be generous with it if we truly want to see a change in the world.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……
-Meditate/pray…..feel your love. Love yourself, first.
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Reflect on your love for your Dad today.
What made me smile yesterday…….
-Another beautiful day at Stillwater.
-A walk along the river.
-Reading.
-Chatting with the neighbors.
-Chilling out.
