For your consideration…….

We don’t necessarily get messages for a specific holiday. But today I asked for a message on Motherhood. In response we were given two things.

The first part of the message calls us to reflect upon what motherhood means. How would we define it? What does it symbolize? Universally motherhood is unconditional love. It is wisdom. It is self-sacrifice. It is enduring and constant 24/7 forever more. It is peace.  It is understanding and comfort. It is all this and so much more. So why aren’t mothers in charge and running the world? It is time for mother’s all over the world to stand up and take charge.

Secondly, we are reminded that a mother’s love is forever enduring. It was before, is now and ever shall be. If you are feeling loss because your mother has passed or you are a mother whose child has passed, be still. They are not lost. They are one breath away. Be still. Feel them as you always have. Feel their hand in yours. Feel them come up behind you and touch your shoulder. Feel them push your hair away from your eyes. Close your eyes and hear their familiar greeting. Hear their jests. Feel their familiar joy and hear their laughter. Be watchful for those familiar things they love or love to give you. Indeed they are their gifts to you.

Many Blessings, dear Mothers, throughout this world and the next.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray…..be still and listen. You are guided.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Celebrate with your mother. If she is passed, make her a card anyway and set it out. She’ll get a kick out of it.

What made me smile yesterday……

-Wahoo, I finished my Angels Teach Life Coach certification. I am way beyond excited. It is much more than a piece of paper to me.

-A couple of email from Alex.

-My husband took me out to celebrate….my choice….Haabs.

-A long snooze.

P.S.Happy Mother’s Day, Mom
