For your consideration……

If you have been here even once before you know that the importance of meditation and/or prayer are stressed here. Having said that, it has been said many times that meditation is not always easy. Consistency is the key. Simply making it a daily practice even for a couple of minutes a day will do wonders. But even if we are experienced mediators, some days are just better than others. Again if you have been here before, you know that I meditate every morning. At some point, almost always at the end, I am given the message for the blog.

Today I, simply put, had a magnificent meditation. It started out with my parents reflecting with me on my childhood. I was given new information. And old memories were unlocked and brought forward. Today’s meditation was beyond joyous. I feel wrapped in love.

But where was the message for our blog? I asked. It was in the reflection of the memories my parents delivered. It was about personal responsibility and entitlement. When we reflect with our spirit world, we see our lessons so much clearer. Love and truth are so poignant and real.

Here is our message. We are all entitled to Guidance to help us navigate through our life lessons. Indeed, we were all given the tools to do so in our life tool box. But we are not entitled to a free ride. We are not entitled to sit back and expect our Guidance to do all of the work. Sure, sometimes it will just step in and help us or even save us. But that is the exception to the rule.

We have personal responsibility called free will. We can choose to let our ego lead our way and “fly by the seat of our pants.” Or we can connect with our authentic self and ask our Guidance to walk lock step with us each step of the way.

Yes, dedication to meditation may seem like a hard task. But it is a small investment for compound interest bearing benefits.

We have personal responsibility. We choose our path. “Ask and you shall receive.”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray….in the long run, it is the easiest and most rewarding path.

-Drink lots of water. It helps with clarity.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Reflect not only on your blessings but where you feel your Guidance stepped in today.

What made me smile yesterday……

-Great students.

-Errands run.

-Sue had returned home to much joy and fanfare.

-My friend, Dianne, is on the mend. It is always a banner day when we get to talk.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
