For your consideration……
I have often said that you can tell a lot about a person by looking at the friends that surround them. Often when I speak of my mother, I mention that she had lifelong friends. Literally childhood friends were her friends throughout her life as well as many more she acquired along the way. I think that speaks volumes of who she was as a person.
Today’s message is two-fold. It tells us that more than at any other time, strong and true friendship is so very important on both the giving and receiving sides in our life. We need each other. We are part of each other. We have to be able to count on each other. And……we must be truthful. Nothing but the truth is good enough for true friendship.
Because we love each other we can speak truth from our heart. Because we love each other it is our responsibility to raise each other up to their highest potential to live their life purpose. It is for their highest good, our own highest good and the highest good of the world.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..
-Meditate/pray….ask for clarity truth of purpose.
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Phone a friend. Or better yet, go have some fun with a friend.
What made me smile yesterday……
-A lazy morning.
-Working at our club…meeting new people….new members.
-Alex’s friend Kali is visiting her.
-A great dinner if I do say so myself.
-I am blessed with many friends.
