For your consideration……

It is easy to forget that life is often much more complicated than it seems. Life would be so much easier if everything was as it “seemed”. But usually that is not the case. There is a lot that is going on “behind the scenes”, hidden from us, that affects what we can actually see and hear.

So today’s message is two-fold.  First we are being asked to consider all that is going on in our life effecting each moment. Before we make decisions big and little we need to consider, what is going on behind our scene…within…..and how is it impacting our decisions….or not. We are a whole package; what is on the inside and cannot be seen or heard and what is on the outside representing us to the world. True representation requires both. Sound decision making requires both.

And the second part of our message is to remember that this is true for everyone else we encounter. They have a behind the scenes as well. Often we can “feel” like something is missing and probably we are right. Everyone we meet is working on their inside self too. How successfully is the million dollar question.

Remember Paul Harvey, “And now for the rest of the story.”? Remember how our perception changed when we got the rest of the story? That is what we are being reminded of today. There is a behind the scene in our and everyone else’s lives…..the rest of the story… that can change the perception.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray and let your within….authentic self…..come front and center. Live your authentic life.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. Do you smell spring yet?

-Drink lots of water.

-Grab a book on something new.

What made me smile yesterday……

-Wow, I slept so late. I don’t know how that happened but it sure felt good.

-Laundry….check.

-Vaccuming….check.

-Bills paid….check.

-A beautiful warm day with sometimes sun. Wahoo.

-Magazines read and ready for recycle to my friends.

-Hotdogs from Bill’s hotdog stand. Everyone had the same idea for the warm day. No coincidences….we ran into Gary and Dianne.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
