For your consideration…….

As I got this song this morning, I was torn. I have never liked it . It is one of those songs that just gets stuck in my head playing over and over like a broken record. Uggg, I have to do something about this. On the other hand, I love the words to the song. I love the message and so I am grateful to have the message today.

Since this song was written we have indeed entered a new dimension. It is both fitting and necessary that we reflect on what that means. It is right that we look for and hold the promise of it first and foremost in our hearts and minds.

I simply can not do better than these lyrics. Read them again. The answer is right in front of us. The world we want to see is within our grasps. We are being asked to open our hearts, let the sunshine in and live in our authentic truth. It is the true freedom we seek. When enough of us do that, we will see the unstoppable and inevitable shift we seek for our world. We are equal owners in it. We sometimes forget that. Our piece as equally important as anyone else’s.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray…..your authentic truth is what you bring to the world. It is your gift. Get up close and personal with it. Let it take the lead in your life.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. Suck the fresh air into your lungs and the sunshine into your soul.

-Walk, run, climb some stairs….shake things up a bit…..make some moves.

-Journal what you are grateful for.

-My faith.

-Melissa saving me with her shoes….that’s a story.

-Bethy riding with me making sure I was not alone.

-Rose’s so gracious and kind family and friends. I was so honored that Jerry, Jill and Wendy let me be such a big part of Rose’s celebration.

-Jason and Al’s moral support.

-My Alex’s text and phone call later in the day.

-My Shannon also checking in with me.

-My life is blessed.
