Stoke The Flames Of Love

For your consideration…..

Oh, I just love the simple little messages we get. Today we have one of them.

“Stoke the flames of love in your heart.”

Yesterday our message was also about love. Today the emphasis is again on love. It sits in our heart….in our authentic self which was created in love. It is always there. It is the constant that cannot be destroyed ever….in this life and beyond.

We are asked today to remember that. We are being asked to remember that we always have access to it. We are being asked to remember to let it take the lead in our lives.

This message is not just about love of family and friends. That’s easy. It is about love of self, love of others, love of “enemies”, love of nature, love of task or work, love of life itself. There is absolutely nothing that does not benefit from the application of love…..our love.

We are being asked to remember that and “stoke” into flames the love that lives in our heart. Let it be the fuel that drives absolutely everything we feel, think and do.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray…..go into the silence at least once a day and connect with your authentic self. Let it lead it you.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. HOPEfully your weather is not as erratic as mine is this morning.

-Let go of judgement. Everything is fixable. Not happy with something you did. Acknowledge it and let it go. Create an affirmation of correction from the love of your self to replace and correct the energy.

What made me smile yesterday……

-An easy morning.

-A trip to Stillwater. Ahhhh my Stillwater…..just peace.

-A visit to a new church.

-Lots of touching base with family and friends; Sis, Aunt Bev and Mary.

-A beautiful message from Rev. Elvina Roe.

-Good football.

-Another good book.
