It’s Love
“The Wind of Love”
Josephine Wall
For your consideration……..
I remember yesterday’s message feeling very light. Today’s much different. While, as always, it is delivered in love, it is not sugar-coated.
Love is the energy that rules everything. It brings light to the world and it’s absence brings darkness.
Love is the essence of all. Love is the foundation of all including our authentic self. It is the core of our authentic self.
Love is not sometimes. It is not fleeting. It is not conditional. It is not a maybe or what if.
True love is always, forever and constant.
Love is the place we all must get to. We must learn to communicate from a pure love level if we are to survive. It is what is expected of us. It is the basis of every one of our life purposes.
We were created in the perfection of love and we are expected to perpetuate it. We can do it. We have come this far. We but need to be conscious of our authentic self and let it lead us.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
I should add that this message was brought in with the following song by Sugarland. I woke up with it playing over and over in my head. So I must pass it to you. Perhaps you to can pass it on.
That too is the HOPE. And so it is.
Love
Is it the face of a child
Is it the thrill of danger
Is it the kindness we see in the eyes of a stranger
Is is more than faith
Is is more than hope
Is it waiting for us at the end of our rope
I say, it’s love
I say, it’s love
Is it the one you call home
Is it the Holy Land
Is is standing right here holding your hand
Is it just like the movies
Is it rice and white lace
Is it the feeling I get when I wake to your face
I say, it’s love
I say, it’s love
Is it the first summer storm
Is it the colors of fall
Is it having so little
And yet having it all
Is it one in a million
Is it a chance to belong
Is it standing right here singing this song
I say, it’s love
I say, it’s love
I say, it’s love
I say, it’s love
Is it a veil or a cross
Is it the poet’s gift
Is it the face that has launched over thousands of ships
Is it making you laugh
Is it letting you cry
Is it where we believe that we go when we die
Is it how you were made
Is it your mother’s ghost
Is it the wish that I’m wishing for your life, for your life, for your life the most
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…….
-Meditate/pray…..sit in silence and let your authentic self step forward. Notice it, feel it, listen to it, let it lead.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Drink lots of water.
-Try to look at everything with lens of love. Don’t feel it? Pretend and ask what is holding you back from seeing it with love.
What made me smile yesterday…..
-I am fortunate enough to be able to say, “I’m taking the rest of the week off.”
-I got lots of odds and ends done.
-Dinner with ladies I used to work with and whom I love. It is always a feel good to be with them.
-My friend, Janet.
-Ahhhh, Stillwater, where I can always find peace.
Love, Blessings and Gratitude,
Rev. Chris
