I loved this song the minute I heard Phillip Phillips sing it on American Idol. Since then I hear the melody everywhere but not the lyrics. I love that today it was given to us to present our message.
There is a lot of angst going on. There is a lot of fear. Whenever will are living in fear, we can not live and give”this” moment its full potential. When we are in fear, we smother the possibilities of this moment.
Today’s message reminds us that we are not alone. The fear of our ego separates us and gives the perception that we are alone. But we are not. Nor are we victims. Fear makes us bystanders.
But when we surrender the fear up for healing we can once again become full participants in life and our spot in the world. We have the power, right, and responsibility to live our life to its fullest.
Whoever you consider your God to be, has the power and resources standing by ready to assist in every detail of your life. They are waiting for you ask to ask for help and guidance. They are waiting for you to recognize them. They are waiting for you to invite them to walk lock step with you in creating the life you were born to live.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……
-Meditate/pray. Set an intention or a question and hold it as you meditate. Listen for the answer. Hear it without judgement. Don’t let your ego talk you out of what you hear.
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Seize control of you life. Don’t let the enormity of it all put you off. Start with one moment. Take it one moment at a time.
What made me smile yesterday……
-I can not remember a teaching day where I have ever laughed out loud so much. I taught high school. It was a hoot.
-A magnificent sunset.
-Trying to explain to my husband the category, Before and After, on “Wheel of Fortune”. We went round and round on how “Nose Job Security”. He was just stumped on what Nose Job Security was. I broke it up for him…Nose Job/Job Security. He just could not get how they were related. He as convince it had something to do with “brown-nosing”. What? I gave up.
-A beautiful moon.
-A great class on learning to recognize and channel the energy of Archangel Raphael.
