For your consideration…..

I am not sure if this is a common saying or not but it doesn’t matter. The message today is, “You can’t build your house on shifting sand.”     I do know that I often have heard and said, “when things get back to normal…..”

Today we are told that it is often difficult to get back to normal because our a new normal is being defined. Many of us do not like change. Deep down we know that nothing stays the same.We are comfortable with subtlety of change  in the daily grind.

But sometimes the sands shift and we find ourselves in unfamiliar territory. Our natural instinct is to fight to get back to where we were. We are miserable with the uncertainty.

And that is exactly the point. The sands have shifted and will continue to shift until we let go and willingly go with the flow. The sands will continue to shift until we accept the growth we are being forced into.

We are here to grow and fulfill our life purpose. If we get too comfortable, life will shift the sand and force us to move on. We may not like it at the time and it may not make sense to us. But eventually it will.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…….

-Meditate….If you feel uncertain on your path, get still and listen for your direction.

-Drink lots of water.

-Take at least 10 deep breaths outdoors. Take deep breaths anywhere and at any time you feel anxious or stressed.

-Focus on your vision board each day. Visualize it. Manifest it.

What made me smile yesterday……

-It was a mellow, easy flow day.

-A new book I am reading.

-Shannon’s success.

-I cooked a great dinner with enough for leftovers for today’s lunch.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
