For your consideration……
The best way I can describe the feeling or spirit of this message is like a “pep” talk a loving coach gives. It compares the life journey to a jigsaw puzzle.
When we start a jigsaw puzzle we look for the absolutes like the pieces with 1 or 2 straight edges that we know will be part of the frame of the puzzle. They are what we know for sure.
We t0o, have things we know for sure; those attributes that sit firm in who we are.
Today the message especially wants to emphasis the inside puzzle pieces. You know the ones we twist and turn, try over and over in different places until it fits, the ones that don’t make sense until we see how they work in a smaller group, or the ones that fit on the very first try.
Yeah, that is very similar to how our life journey works with trial and error. Something that doesn’t work or interest us today may be perfect tomorrow or next year. And sometimes a person, event or activity immediately fits perfectly into our life.
The final coaching advice we got today is about time. We may make great headway on a puzzle or our life one day and virtually none the next. At least it can seem that way. But studying, thinking, planning, researching etc. count towards completion. Rest and enthusiastic energy count in equal measure. Our life journey is not a race. Quality matters.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……
-Meditate/pray. Relax and listen to your authentic self and Guidance.
-Drink lots of water.
-Take in at least 10 deep breaths outdoors.
-Pat yourself on the back.
What made me smile yesterday…….
-1st graders on the 1st day of school. Too fun.
-The sunshine finally showed up for a perfect afternoon.
-A great mystery finished.
