For your consideration……
Do you ever feel you are on a different page than everyone else? Do you ever feel like something has come completely out of left field? Do you ever wonder why you just can’t get your message across the way you intend? Do you listen to the news and ever think what is coming out as legitimate news is completely nuts? Have you ever been talking to someone only to discover you are talking about completely different things?
Life experiences weave a story for us. It creates filters for us to use as we continue our path. We grow perceptions and create habits that we apply to the next step and the next in our lives. Most of the time we do not question whether or not they are true. And we continue on with that filter until something causes us to question it.
Filters are often what makes arguing more difficult than it should be. Theoretically if we all recognized truth there would be nothing to argue about. We have all been there. An argument starts about one thing but everything and event that we can possibly remember that can apply, we dredge up taking us farther and farther away from the real issue at hand. We don’t think to go back and even consider are they true? Were they ever true?
That is life. Experience and questioning the experience and knowledge is how we learn and grow. Today’s message is just a reminder to remember that process. We are reminded to be discriminating. Our truth meter sits in our core authentic self perfectly created by God. Guard that perfection. Let it be your source and guide in changing or eliminating those filters we have acquired that do not serve us for our highest good.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……
-Meditate/pray….check in daily with your authentic self. Honor it. Follow its guidance.
-Drink lots of water.
-Eat some raw fruits and vegetables.
-Take in at least 10 deep breaths outdoors.
-Journal those questions that popped up today. Is there anything you want to change?
What made me smile yesterday……
-A slow easy relaxing morning.
-Sun and perfect temperatures.
-Bill’s hotdogs.
-Shopping with Jody. We both found exactly what we went looking for.
-Dinner in and an early bedtime.
-Dare we HOPE….Dude is honoring the electronic fence. That is such a blessing.
