For your consideration……
We love movies or stories where a packet of love letters is found. We know as soon as we see it that a deep abiding love existed. We know that love was treasured. We know that love was precious. We know that it still exists even if the people involved are alive or passed.
Love letters are good reminders that anything rooted in love can grow beyond measure. Where love exists we know HOPE and joy. Love reminds us of our humanity.
Today we are being asked to write a love letter…..in our own hand. This means it is not an email. Today it is not even a phone call. On any other day those would be great as well. But today we are being asked to write a love letter in our own hand. And are you ready for this? Mail it. Let the recipient have the joy of receiving it……the old-fashioned way.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……
-Meditate. Love of self must come first.
-Drink lots of water.
-Take in at least 10 deep breaths out-of-doors. Let Mother Earth weave her magic.
-Reflect on your love. Write about it.
What made me smile yesterday……
-I worked at our club. That is always an experience.
-Leftovers…..thankfully we had some great ones because I was exhausted.
-Shannon remembered she had a mother.
-My Alex…so open…so grown up.
