For your consideration……
First let me say, probably as I have before, that we can always tell when a message is coming from our Guidance or Ego. Our Guidance always delivers messages that come from a kind and loving place completely without “JUDGEMENT”.
It is important to know that in case I do not do a good job of delivering this message as it was intended. It is delivered as a helpful truth to help us understand even though it may seem harsh at times.
First lets take a look charity in the dictionary:
chatity…1.The voluntary giving of help, typically money, to those in need. 2.Help or money given in this way.
Second lets take a look at charity in the Bible in 1st Corinthians 13:3: And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
You see what is being pointed out to us today is that charity must be freely given from a free and loving heart….with no strings attached. And it has to be accepted in the same way. Otherwise it is useless. This holds true for individuals, groups and governments alike.
Look at the USA and how much money it gives away at home and abroad. Are you feeling the love? Look at other countries with multitudes of social programs in place. Most of them are struggling or even rioting. And we are left to wonder what is going on. On the flip side, look at 9/11 and the support that poured in for the survivors. Why was that so different? What are the answers?
It is the “freely given and accepted with a loving heart….without strings” part. Our intention determines and drives the energy behind every action. So anything that is taken from someone against their free will does not carry the positive energy necessary for positive change. Robin Hood was a fairy tale. Anything you take from someone against their will is robbery. It doesn’t matter whether or not they should “want” to help. It doesn’t matter if they are “stingy or greedy”. Taking from them is not the solution. Changing their heart is.
On the “freely accepted” side of the coin. For charity to work its magic the receiver must feel the love behind the gift. They must feel the giver’s desire to support them. They must not feel there are strings attached. They must not be robbed of their HOPE.
It is the same with entitlement. Entitlement contains expectation. It infringes on the free will of others. Accepting gifts freely or not freely given with an entitlement attitude is not a solution. Changing our heart to accepting with love is.
Begrudgment and entitlement are two side of the same coin equally problematic. We can argue until the cows come home that one is better or worse than the other. But energy goes where attention/intention flows. Whether that energy is positive or negative depends on “free will”. It depends on the energy of our heart and soul.
We can change the world. We will change the world. But it won’t be by demanding it. It won’t be by legislating it. It won’t be by stealing it.We will do it by enlightening the hearts and souls of people.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..
-Meditate. Know your soul.
-Drink lots of water. Keep your body moving.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-When you feel stress, out of sorts, nervous…..any negative energy….stop and take in a couple of deep breaths. Breath returns us to center.
-Do a random act of kindness.

-Our swans are almost fully grown and paid us a visit.
