Love is in the air, in the rising of the sun,
Love is in the air, when the day is nearly done,
And I don’t know if you are illusion,
Don’t know if I see truth,
But you are something that I must believe in,

Last weekend with some friends the discussion came up about how much fear there seems to be in the world right now. And I remembered that I, too, had been given a message addressing fear. Now here we are again today with another message that at its crux is meant to offer an alternative to fear.

We are reminded again that we always have a choice. Don’t choose fear. Look around. Open up all of your senses. Love is all around you. Notice it. Choose it. Spread it. Live it.

I have to laugh because sometimes I feel like an old hippy. But this is much deeper. The 60’s were a movement in rebellion. Today is not about a movement. It is not a protest. It is about opening all of our senses noticing and feeling what is right with the world and carrying its true intention forward.

Too often we are tapped into and tied to the negative news….the drama. Like the 60’s we get sucked into “fighting” for what is right and just. But you see that is what is wrong. We get tied up in the fighting and don’t notice what the real  intention for this world is. And when we stop and disconnect from all of that hype, we know it.  

Mother Earth is betwixt and between right now. That is what so many people are feeling. They are feeling fear because we are being forced into making a choice. Where do we go from here. We are at a crossroads.

Love is all around us. It always has been. We are being asked to tap into what is right and loving and carry its intention forward in all we do. We are being asked to bring sanity back to Mother Earth. We are being asked to be the light that takes us forward into the new generation. We are being asked to make that choice…..choose that path.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate into the peace and love that sits in your authentic self.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Turn off the TV….at least the news.

-Turn on some great music. Relax to it. Or is you rather dance with wild abandon. Do whatever feels good to your spirit.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-I got lots of errands done for my workshop.

-Rain…..ok so maybe it didn’t last for a long time….but we loved it just the same.

-Bruce and I have to laugh. It looks like the Robins are on a diet. I think the worms have gone deeper to sta cool.

-A hummingbird looking in the window at me.

-I get a hummingbird. Jay gets a cardinal. Don’t you just love when Mother Nature uses her messengers?
