For your consideration…..
Yesterday we talked about HOPE, my Life Purpose, my “Sacred Marching Orders“.
“Sacred Marching Orders” is a book written by my friend and mentor, Pat Fero. Pat states this book “is a life altering guide to find and honor your sacred purpose.”
Does the world seem to be moving faster and faster? Does it feel like everything is off balance? Do you ever feel like life right now feels strange but you can’t quite put your finger on why? Do all these crazy weather patterns and tragedy after tragedy seem abnormally frequent?
A few days ago we talked about the SMACK, God getting our attention. All of the crazy weather and tragedy happening now are just SMACKs to get us to pay attention. It is time. We all need to find our spot where we are best suited to contribute to the highest good of all.
How do we do that?
I once read that in art we all gravitate toward something meaningful to us. I thought that was crazy until I did as was suggested and walked around my house. Everything I had collected had women and/or children in it. Sure I have the odd pieces that add color but not of much value. But the collectibles, all the pieces of value to me, all had women and/or children. Well there was a clue.
I mentioned yesterday, that when I look back at the different places I found myself, the piece that stuck out was HOPE. Well there was a clue.
Then finally, there was the silence, the listening where I was given my Life Purpose, My Sacred Marching Orders. Like a key in a lock, like the last piece in a puzzle, it dropped into place and I knew, like I knew, like I knew.
So in answer to the question, “How do we do that?” Why not start by looking at your art, what you read or where do you most like to go? What is the theme? Pay attention to all of the places your life has inserted you. What is the common thing that feels good in all of them? What is the common thing that makes you crazy, angry, sad and pushes your buttons? Notice, just stop and notice. Finally, as always, we all need the silence. Get silent. There is nothing scary there unless you put it there. Your Core Essence Self is perfect. Let everything else go. Focus on that perfection and listen to the guidance.
This is important. We are all being encouraged with these SMACKs to find our slot and insert ourself into it. Our slot is our Life Purpose. Inserting ourself into it is our Sacred Marching Orders, us in action. That is when the magic happens. You will know it. It is the ahhhhh, the peace, we all search for and the love we all have to share.

-Take that stroll around your house noticing what you have put there.
-Take that moment wherever you are and notice what feels important to you.
-Get silent for as long as you can.
-Get outside, even if it is just on the porch, and take 10 deep breaths
-Drink more water

I was interested to know IF you have had any life~coach sessions with Ms. Fero? What an amazing gift to enjoy right in the Ypsilanti area!
Gratitude for your writings with such honesty. I wonder also why I always cry while reading your wealth of knowledge? mmmmmmmmmm
I have not had formal life coach sessions with Pat. I met her at a workshop and she has been a mentor to me. She without judgement, knows that I am a reluctant writer even though I know I have to write. She offers me encouragement every step of the way. She has workshops. And a couple of times a year she has retreats. Until this year I was always tied up elsewhere for the spring one but could attend in the fall. This year I was able to attend the spring one and it was wonderful. I am trully grateful. Indeed, we are lucky to have Pat in our area.
