We Can Do It!

For your consideration…..

I was given this poster picture in a dream last night for today’s message. I was excited because normally I am given the message in meditation and then I spend quite a bit of time trying to find the perfect picture to communicate it.  I was also given a message. So I was good to go for today’s blog. I was going to hit the ground running way ahead of the game today. Of course, our Guidance had other plans. As I meditated, I was given a much bigger message.

Rosie the Riviter became the symbol of women stepping up and into the power they forgot they had during WWII. Women whose previous role was mostly in the home supporting their families were needed to support this country, its men and the freedom of Europe. Women stepped up. They not only made sacrifices of usable goods and taking care of their family alone. They went to work. They manned the factories. They made B52 bombers in record numbers. When there was a need, they stepped up and filled it. WWII could not have been won without them.

We can go on forever here about the struggles of women since. We could debate the pros and cons of the women’s movement. But that is not the message. In fact, it is the opposite.

Today’s message is for women. Know this. You have always had tremendous power. Each of you. Societies and cultures around the world have defined it and put boundaries around it to try to confine it. But it is God-given and cannot be defined and limited. All that is wrong in today’s world is fixable and will be fixed when women stand up and take back their power.

This sounds political and mean-spirited. But it is the exact opposite. Feminine power is inviting, inclusive, loving. It is partnerships. There does not have to be a loser. Women using their power makes men stronger. It does not belittle them. Women in power is not stepping into men’s positions and doing things the same way men did. No, women look at things differently and can offer unique solutions conducive to benefiting all. Love and harmony are at the core of the feminine energy.

We are in a shift. How successful we are in this shift depends on how many women stand up and into their power. It is as simple as that. The thinking that women need to fight for equal rights is limiting. They don’t have to fight for anything. They have the power. They just need to stand up and use it with open and loving hearts.

The call is out. We can do it. We will do it. That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray. Feel the God-given power of you at the center of your core.

-Take at least 10 deep breaths outdoors. Close your eyes. Feel the love and unselfish support of Mother Earth. Tap into that energy. It is your own. So goes Mother Earth. So go we.

-Drink lots of water.

-Journal the times you bit your tongue….had and idea and did not share it…disagreed and did not express it. Why? Make the shift. You need to be heard.

What made me smile yesterday……

-Bruce’s birthday. I would have taken him anywhere but he is a cheap date and wanted BW3’s.

-Both girls made sure they called and sent him love and Happy Birthday wishes.

-Hope’s Rising completed one full year. And today starts the second one. The message in my dream last night was a reminder to me of how much I protested doing this. I was sure I could not do it. Yet I was guided to and promised I would not be alone. I would have what I needed when I needed it. And our Guidance has not let me down even one time.
