For your consideration…..
How’s May been going for you? My HOPE is great. But my sense is many of us have had a lot thrown at us at once. Have you ever felt like you just can’t take one more thing and then SMACK you get that one more thing right between the eyes. Do you ever wonder why?
Occasionally we need those SMACKS to get us to stop and look at something differently. Am I doing what I’m supposed to be doing? Am I taking care of myself? Is this the direction I am supposed to be going in? Is this dangerous? Am I making the right choice? Am I having fun? Am I loving life like there is no tomorrow? Do I have joy? etc. etc. etc.
These SMACKS are God’s way of getting our attention. They help us stop and take measure. They help us stay on our highest path. They are a reminder to look at the situation or ourselves in a new light. Admittedly some of those SMACKS hit us pretty hard. Sometimes it is hard to get our attention. Sometimes it is just time for our next big lesson and we would never take that step without a SMACK.
Do you remember the saying, “If it doesn’t kill you, it will make you stronger?” That is a true statement, if we want it to be. As always, we have a choice.
I don’t know about you, but I am taking a step back, surrendering and having a good laugh.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps anyone can do…..
-Eat some chocolate
-Take some deep breaths
-Laugh out loud
-Pause for as long as you can
-Journal some blessings
What made me laugh yesterday…..
-Ice cream for breakfast
-Funny pictures and stories of Ian
-The sun

Hello just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you know a few of the pictures aren’t loading correctly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different web browsers and both show the same results.
