For your consideration…….

In the spiritual context enlightenment means,”a spiritual revolution or deep insight into the meaning and purpose of all things, communication with or understanding of the mind of God, profound spiritual understanding or a fundamentally changed consciousness whereby everything is perceived as a unity.” (Wikipedia)

Consciously or unconsciously at some point everyone thinks about or wonders what it is all about. What is the meaning of life? Where do I fit in?

As we evolve as souls we start to “fill in the blanks”. Sometimes it is in big “ahhh ha” moments where circumstances has provided the setting and people to create a big learning moment. Suddenly, the light bulb goes off and we “get it.”

But the message we are given today is not about those moments. We are reminded that every moment is an opportunity for evolvement. We are constantly learning. These ordinary everyday moments are no less important than the “ahhhh ha” ones. They are just as significant and crucial to our evolvement……and there are many many more of them.

So how do we capture them? We capture them in reflection. We capture them when we pause and reflect on gratitude. We capture them when we pause and reflect on all of the moments in the day…easy and hard. When we do this, we evolve.

We are more enlightened today than we were yesterday and not as much as tomorrow. That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…….

-Meditate. Reflect on where you are and where you are going. Ask?

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Go for a walk or jog…..in a park, around your home, around your neighborhood, around a lake, go golfing etc.

-Journal all you are grateful for.

What made me smile yesterday……

-A wonderful “Blessing of Wings” ceremony at the NAS Pensacola Chapel.

-A moving, exciting, happy “Winging” ceremony shared by wonderful family, Bruce, Shannon, Cathy and John. And friends, Sami and Natalia.

-A fun reception at the O Club, dinner at McGuire’s and party at the Oar House. Wow.

-And most importantly a happy happy daughter. That is quite an accomplishment, Alex. Congrats to you and the rest of your friends who were also winged. We are so very proud of you.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Chris
