For your consideration…..
Each of us has an ego side and spirit side. Suffice to say we all pretty much know which side is predominant for most of humanity. You would think that since religion is such a hot topic this would not be the case. But practicing a religion does not necessarily mean we are working predominantly from our spiritual….authentic self.
Ego and spirit are very different. Ego suppresses. Spirit uplifts. Ego judges. Spirit does not. Ego is chained by fear. Spirit is free in peace. Ego loves with attached strings. Spirit’s love is completely free and unconditional.
Spirit is much stronger than ego. So why is ego so often in charge? Because that is what the life journey is. It is the melding of the ego into all it can be in accordance with our authentic self….or not. It is our choice. We always have a choice.
The reason that meditation and prayer are so important is because awareness is the first step in the journey. Listening to our Guidance is the second. And setting our intentions accordingly is third. That is the process for turning our life around and making our spiritual self our predominant self. When we realize this and start to work from our authentic self, we will realize success in all things. Because all things are possible when our ego and spiritual self are working in harmony as one and we realize who we really are. That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE actions steps anyone can take…..
-Meditate. Know you. Listen to your Guidance. Ask for your highest good.
-Drink lots of water. It helps with cleansing and clarity. It is a gift.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deeps breaths. If you can manage it, spend 10 quiet minutes alone with Mother Earth.
-Journal what you are grateful for.
What made me smile yesterday…..
–Successful shopping with Bruce. It is not our favorite thing to do so we really feel good when it is done.
-All is well despite the fact that I left my sunroof open and it rained. What’s a few puddles in the cupholders? And between the sun and heated seats it is drying out quickly.
-Alex is making great headway on her move.
