For your consideration…
Once or twice a year, I go on a short women’s retreat. At first it was strange as I started to look at things differently. Actually, that is probably not correct. I started to see things I looked at. I started considering the links and connection we all share to each other, Mother Earth and the Universe. Now I wonder how I did not see it before. How could I have forgotten it? We all need to remember.
Where do we start? I am told that it is time to look at how we value ourselves. We are to look at any issues we have with self love. And while there is a lot we should value in ourselves, today it s specific to soul love.
We talked about the ego a few days ago. Frequently we see someone with a big ego and think they really love themselves. But stop and think now. Is that what pure soul love looks like? Soul love attracts like a subtle perfume. It is not in your face demanding.
What about those we know with a huge capacity to love others but do not feel worthy themselves and maybe even have low self esteem? Certainly that is not soul love.
It all goes back to our Core Essence Self. It is perfect. You should and deserve to love yourself. You deserve the love of others. That is what belongs there. If you have let something in that does not belong, it is time to clean house.
Remember, you were sent here perfect with gifts and purpose. You are not an accident. You are here because you are needed right now.
Dig deep and remember.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps anyone can do….
-Go outside, take at least 10 deep breaths, sit down and be still.
-Journal….anything, don’t think about it, just write.
-Drink lots of water
-Say at least 10 times, “I am perfect as I am, I love me. Thank you.”
What made me smile yesterday….
-An email from Peanut, my granddaughter about smiling
-My friend, Judy, holding and petting her chickens. I have to admit I never thought to do that when we had our farm.
-Fun working with Carol, Judy and Kevin. Bruce always says, “Many hands make hard work light.” That is true but with these three, it also is fun.
