For your consideration…

I think it is interesting that “Fate” comes up today after all the contention of an election year. Personally, it is hard for me to feel anything but relieved that it is over. My phone is noticeably quiet. Our message is about fate. I suspect many see “fate” negatively. It is something to be endured. For others, it may be an excuse.

Two things about fate are being pointed out to us today.

The first is best described in the Serenity Prayer. “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”

The second part of our message reminds us that we are not in charge. God is. It is all for his Divine Purpose for his Divine Timing.

That is theĀ HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Accept fate for what it is.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Spent the morning with Mary having breakfast while Louie was being groomed.

-She helped me find Alex’s car so I could get the cake topper out to take to the bakery in Ann Arbor.

-Sewed the baby quilt I need for this weekend.

-Took down Halloween decorations and put up fall ones.

-Got some cards made.

-Laundry done.

-Caught up with Alex and final plans are in place for our baby shower this weekend.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
