For your consideration…

When I was first asked to write this blog, I tried to decline. How would I come up with a message each day? How would I know where to begin? What if I got the message wrong? I was assured that each day a message would be provided for me. I just had to stay open. And…not to worry. If I got the message wrong or it was incomplete, I would be given clarity and an opportunity to correct or “add to” the message. I mention this for two reasons. First, our Guidance is always with us and communicates in a variety of ways. We need to be open and alert to them. The second is that we should not let fear paralyze us. If we don’t get it quite right, our Guidance will stick with it and keep on giving us the information and lessons we need.

A couple of days ago, we had a message about planning. I tried not to put too much emphasis on the planning because we are in a period of acting on our opportunities. I did not want to stymie that. But clearly, planning needs to be a big part of moving forward. Thus, we were given rabbits for our message today.

When rabbits show up, we are reminded to plan for possibilities, plan some more, and recheck the plans we already have in motion. This planning keeps our actions fluid and keeps us from boxing ourselves in.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved…always.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Plan but keep them fluid.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-It started with getting Conner and Owen up and off to school. It is always fun. Those smiles start the day off with a full heart.

-I volunteered teaching ESL to a great group of women.

-My monthly book club.

-I ushered at Hill Auditorium for the Samara Joy concert. She is absolutely incredible.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
