Loose Ends - The Last Word On Nothing

For your consideration…

Wahoo, the site is back up and running.

Today’s message is about loose ends. We are asked to clean them up, to clean our slate.

Loose ends may seem tiny, but they hang over our heads, and whether we are consciously aware or not, they hold us back. They hold us captive. They may be big things like a job, unpaid bills, or relationships etc. Or they may be little things like a dress that you want to wear for a special occasion, but you are missing the shoes or accessories. That loose end is “Do I change the dress to one I have the accessories for, or do I try to find perfect accessories?” As the event draws closer, our stress increases. Notice, however, that when we make the decision, when we tie up the loose end, we feel lighter, freer…happier.

We are asked to make a plan to clean up our loose ends. They are dead weight. We will feel invigorated when we do.

That is theĀ HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm..“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Tie up loose ends.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-I have Louie back home and he hasn’t left my side.

-I got help with this website and it is back up and running.

-Finished my library books and returned them.

-I have had some unfinished cards sitting here. They were from a crafting event that I did not attend. I was not quite sure how they went together. I was tired of looking at the pile and decided to finish it off. Wahoo.

-Cleaned out my refrigerator.

-I have a So Clean machine for my CPAP. When I got a new CPAP, it was no longer compatible. After a year I decided to tackle it. Knock on wood, I think I have ordered what I need.

-Catching up with Alex.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
