For your consideration…..
I am very late today. It is a long story but it has put a punctuation mark on today’s message. I often say I never know why a message shows up. But while I did not know this morning why, I do now.
We have also often said, “There are no coincidences.” If you are reading this blog, it is because you are supposed to see it. It is the same with other information and actions in our lives. We are constantly learning and ever changing….evolving.
Today’s message reminds us to be proud of that and to own it. True mastery of ownership is when we share it….teach what we have learned i.e.; being present in the moment, letting go of the outcome, love, determination. going with the flow, staying in the positive etc…..all those life lessons that serve us so well. Lead by example is wonderful but don’t be afraid to take the next step and actively teach the moment.
I know, I know, I can hear you thinking, “I can’t do that.” or ” I wouldn’t know how.” or “No one wants to listen to me.” That is wrong thinking. You are a teacher. You can light the way. It does not have to be “preaching” or “in your face” confrontation. You can be a good teacher by being a good listener and offering a kind word. You can be a good teacher by quietly asking a pointed question. Maybe that question is simply “why” or “what if”.
We are being asked to focus on our success and what we have to offer and share….teach? That is the HOPE.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……
-Meditate focusing on your joy and success.
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Send love and support to someone who needs it.
-Journal what you learned today.
What made me smile yesterday….
-I had a wonderful school day. I love seeing so many of Shannon’s old friends all grown up and successful.
-A long chat with my Alex.
-Date night with Bruce.
