For your consideration…

There are two parts to today’s message. Both are important.

We have probably all experienced people or situations where rules, processes, theory, etc. take precedence over practical action. Of course, there are times when this is necessary but not always. But sometimes they don’t make sense. We know this. We feel it in our core. Much like yesterday’s message we must always listen to the truth that our Spirit recognizes.

The second part of today’s message is remembering that what is practical to one person is not practical to another. Let me give a couple of simple solutions. A craft project may seem easy to one person but hard to another. One person may find it practical to use whatever is available around the house while others buy a kit. The same thing goes for preparing meals. Some find it practical and cheaper to cook while other choose to go out or even order food kits to prepare. For them the saved time is worth the extra money.

We should not judge. What works one person may not be practical to another.

That is the HOPE.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Remember one person’s “practical” is not necessarily another’s.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Louie is already for spring with his new haircut.

-Finally remembered to get my new license plate tags…only a month late.

-Grocery shopping done. Sooo excited to have an alternative to the Kroger’s by my house.

-Catching up with Jackie, Beth, Mary, and Alex.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
