For your consideration…

Snoop Dog says of life, “It has ups and downs, smiles and frowns.” Isn’t that the truth.

Our message today tells us that we can make our lives much easier if we are selective and surround ourselves with people who truly care for us. Choose people who are there in the good times and bad. Choose people who suspend judgment and stand by us whether they think we are right or wrong. Choose people who stand by us when we succeed or when we fall short. Choose people who prop us up and let us lean on them and let us do the same when they need it. Choose people who can find humor when we can’t. Choose people who share their light when we are in darkness. Choose people who counter our frowns with smiles.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be selective on who we share space with.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-I took Mary for her shot and then we met Alex for lunch.

-A DKG meeting. We reviewed a great book, The Women.

-A good book.

-Catching up with Mac on her birthday.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
