For your consideration…

Probably most of us think and say this. We know we should suspend judgment but all too often we can’t stop judging ourselves.

Our message today tells us that self critique is good. We should want to learn and grow to do better. That is looking at life positively. That look turns negative when we dwell on would have, could have, and should have. When we dwell on the negative, we stunt our growth. We hold ourselves back from doing better.

We are asked to consider this. If we were always perfect, how would we grow? What would be the point of our life? We are living a life of lessons. Assessing how we could have done better is good as long as we are using it to do better going forward. Beating ourselves up does not sure us or anyone else well.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Assess about lessons learned, move on, applying them.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A visit from Conner, Mary, and Alex.

-Found a great fabric for a baby quilt I need to make.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,
