For your consideration…

I have to admit that when I wake up and see a gloomy rain day, I feel a bit of a let down. And I am a constant weather watcher when I am having an event or doing an outdoor activity, HOPEing there will not be rain. Bu t when I get my attitude right, I remember how thirsty Mother Earth is. I remember to smell the freshness of the rain. I turn my disappointment into gratitude. Then when the sun comes out after a rain, we are so much more appreciative of the sun.

The rain today reminds us that there are always benefits on the flip side, We just have to remember to curb our negative attitude and nurture our gratitude.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors rain or shine and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful rainy day.

-Our hike was canceled but that left us with extra time to catch up.

-Mojdeh, Susan, and I met a coffee shop for Sunday morning coffee.

-A good book series.

-Catching up with both my girls and Mary.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
