For your consideration…

Hmm, Yes we know we are responsible for our own happiness. But sometimes we forget, and we look for the easy way out. We look for others to make us happy.

So today’s message reminds us that  we are still in charge of our own happiness AND that is a good thing.  But we are being given a handy little tool to help us along the right track. It is a question…

“What is one thing you could do more (or less) of that would increase your overall happiness?”

That is the exact question we were given. As I reflected on it,  I thought of the handy “T” chart. At the top of the T is the word “Happiness,” on the left side we could write what decreases our happiness and on the right side of the T we can write what increases it. That would be a pretty good start to a roadmap to increased happiness.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

 

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at lest 10 deep breaths.

-Reflect on what increases and decreases your happiness.

 

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Plans change. Alex and Conner came home from vacations a day early and needed a ride home. I packed up the dogs…still in my slippers and PJ’s, grabbed some lunch/dinner for them and headed for the airport.

-Everything went smoothly, we had a great lunch, and Louie and I headed back home.

-Catching up with Jackie and Mary…both great conversations.

-Finished one of the books I was reading.
