For your consideration…

Perhaps you have heard the saying that refers to your eyes being on the front of your head versus the back so that you focus on moving forward  instead of what’s past. For the most part this is true. However, there is a difference between looking/glancing back versus dwelling on the past.

This is an important distinction necessary for today’s message. Our message today tells us, “If you are feeling stuck and don’t know how to move forward, then look at your past and ask what you would have done differently.”

When we are stuck, it can help us to take a brief pause to reflect.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next steps for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Remember…You don’t have to stay stuck.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A good PT appointment for Mary.

-Kay, Vickie, Mojdeh and I went to lunch and a Christmas play at the Purple Rose Theater.

-A fun cooking class.

-Catching up with James and Alex when I picked up the dogs.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and gratitude,

Rev. Chris
