For your consideration…

Hmmm. We are born to fulfill a life purpose. Most certainly, it means helping others. So what’s the problem?

We also need to be aware that the offer is enough. If we do our best that is all we can do. We can’t force anyone to accept our help, wisdom, knowledge, stuff, etc. even if we know like we know, like we know that it is for their best interest.

I was once told to not offer my services for free. Too often, subconsciously, people sense the minimization of the gift versus its true value. Perhaps you have experienced this or witnessed it. Something if offered for free and people pass over it. Offer that same thing with a big price tag and suddenly it is valuable.

Does this mean we should not be generous with our time and talent, knowledge and wisdom, etc.? NO. We should always follow our instincts and share to fulfill a need or ease other’s burdens. However, sometimes the recipient is not ready to accept our gift. Our message today, tells us not to be disheartened. Don’t let this rejection stop us from offering our gifts going forward.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Don’t be discouraged. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Special students.

-Lunch with Shannon.

-Beth and I ushered at Hill Auditorium for a wonderful performance by Silkroad Ensemble with Rhiannon Giddens.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,
