For your consideration…

I suspect that a lot of us, for sure me, are embarrassed or ashamed when we fall down or fail. I have physically fallen a couple of times this year and I am quick to get back up and pronounce that “I OK.” I make the proclamation before I even know if I am or not.

Our message today tells us that it is ok to “fall down or have a failure.” It is even ok to stay down for a bit and catch our breath. It is not ok to stay down. It is our job to get back up and move on. If we can’t do it on our own, then we need to ask for help. Staying down and giving up is not meant to be an option.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Get up. Get moving.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful fall day.

-Catching up with Alex and Conner.

-Picking AJ up from the airport and visiting with Mary.

-A fun cooking class.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
