For your consideration…

I love this image for today’s message. It is broader but so relevant and true.

We often have messages about making sure that we verify what we hear and feel before we let it into our core and before we speak it passing it on. Sadly not much of what we hear on a daily basis if pure truth.

Secondly, how often do we stop and ask ourselves, “Is it kind?” For sure we recognize unkindness, but on a proactive basis how often do we give it conscious thought. HOPEfully we don’t have to give it much thought because we are inherently kind. Several of the schools I teach in have “be kind: in their mottos.

Finally, “Is it necessary?” is the message we were given today. I have to say that as I thought about this message I realized I have not spent a lot of time on this question. And I also realize it is an important one. Asking this simple question can save us money, save us time, save relationships, etc. Is it necessary is a question that we can ask about almost everything we do or say. Asking this simple question can help us live a smoother more productive and peaceful  life.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Ask the pertinent questions.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful fall day.

-A fun school day.

-Picking Conner up from school.

-Dinner with Alex and Conner.

-Catching up with Mary.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
