For your consideration…

Our message came in via a Kyler quote, “Life is like a roller coaster with all its ups and downs.” I mind immediately went to life being like Michigan weather. We have a saying in Michigan that says, “If you don’t like the weather, give it a minute.” Weather in Michigan is constantly changing.

But as I sat with today’s message, I realized what a great quote we were giving. Comparing life to a roller coaster is perfect. We don’t need to take it so seriously. We can enjoy the suspense and anticipation of the climbing up…or not knowing what the next second will bring. Finally, letting the down moments exhilarate us as we expect the next climb up.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Roll with life.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Spending the day with Conner. We went to a “Touch a Truck” event. They had every kind of vehicle there. Kids could sit in them and push lots of buttons. The event was free and handed out tons of give aways.. There were thousands of people there. Conner had a great time.

-Catching up with Alex and Mary.

-A good book.
