For your consideration…

I was reminded this morning of something I often say to my children, parents, friends, students, “It is a child’s job to push the limits. It is the parents, teachers, adult’s job to set the limit.” Kids push. That is how they grow. But sometimes their push is not safe and limits have to be set and then adjusted as they grow.

Our message today tells us that it is the same for us as adults. It is our job to push. That is how we grow. It is up to our God to set a limit when we are going to far or getting off track. We may see these as disappointments, road blocks, things gone wrong, or even failures. But that is not correct. Indeed, they are protection for our highest good.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?” Trust it.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Drink lots of water.

-Remember who is in charge.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Mojdeh and I went to White Lotus Farm for a morning coffee and pastry, pick up some fresh bread, fresh cheese, and micro greens.

-Beth and I took Conner to Despicable Me 4. Then we met Alex for dinner.

-Catching up with Jody.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
